One of the world's great coastlines

Since 1893 Hurtigruten has been the lifeline of Norway's west coast, leaving Bergen every day and running the twelve-day round trip to Kirkenes all year round.
The route passes more than a hundred fjords and a thousand peaks, crosses the Arctic Circle and calls at 34 ports. In winter, far from any light pollution, there is every chance of watching the northern lights move above the fjords.
A new era of Norwegian coastal voyages

Havila Voyages is Norway's new generation of coastal cruising. It sails the classic Norwegian coastal route, more than 130 years old, between Bergen and Kirkenes, calling at 34 ports and reaching deep into fjords, fishing villages and the Arctic Circle. Its new ships take their design cues from Nordic nature, with spacious cabins, panoramic lounges and local cuisine, so the voyage itself becomes part of discovering Norway.
Havila also builds sustainability into every voyage: large battery packs and hybrid propulsion allow quiet, low-emission sailing in parts of the fjords. Whether you are chasing the northern lights in winter or the midnight sun in summer, Havila offers a calmer, deeper way to take in the grandeur and purity of the Norwegian coast.
